Watermelon Nail Art Designs For Toes - National Watermelon Day - Pedicure

August 3rd is officially National Watermelon Day!  To celebrate this delicious summer fruit I have created a easy to follow Watermelon Toe design - Below you will find Step-by-step instructions, completed photos of the design, and a full video tutorial that can be found on YouTube.   Enjoy XO Gianna

Create this Gorgeous Design:

1. Paint 2 coats of polish on your all your toes expect for your accent toe.
(Light Green Polish - Sinful colors "Innocent" )
(Watermelon color - Essie "Bachelorette Bash"

2. Apply a fast drying top coat to speed up dry time.
( My recommendation - Seche Vite - Not only does it dry your nails SUPER fast bust it also drys the layers of polish underneath. AKA NO WRINKLING polish)

ACCENT TOE -

3. While your waiting for you big toe to dry... create the green watermelon skin on your accent toe.
( Dark Green Polish - Essie "Mojito Madness)

BIG TOE -

4. Apply a fast drying top coat to speed up dry time on your big toe.
(My recommendation - Seche Vite)

5. On your hallux AKA Big toe create a white smile line that takes up a 3rd of your nail.
(White Polish - Sinful colors "Snow me White" )
( Apply a round sticker - PS make sure you push down the edges, Apply a think amount of white polish, and quickly remove the sticker with a pair of tweezers)

Take a tooth pick and create uneven wiggly lines.

4. On your hallux AKA Big toe create a light green smile line that allows a small amount of your white smile line to peek out.
(Light Green Polish - Sinful colors "Innocent" )
( Apply a round sticker - PS make sure you push down the edges, Apply a think amount of light green polish, and quickly remove the sticker with a pair of tweezers)

5.After you have allowed a few minutes for your polish to dry - Create the skin on tip.

6. Create 3 Watermelon seeds -
Place some black polish on a bag and a medium dotting tool create 3 dots in the shape of a C
Take a toothpick and create a v at the bottom of each dot.
(Black Polish - Essie "Licorice" )

Easy Patriotic Nail Art Ideas For The Fourth Of July - Dry Water Marble

Step 1 - Start by painting your nails any color you would like now to create the marbled/ tie dye design/ Patriotic

Step 2 - Create a quarter circle on the side of the nail

I'm taking three colors and applying them with the nail polish brush in a c shape at the corner of my nail

Step 3 - Create the Design

I found that it's easier to work with a nail striping brush to create the tie-dye design and I'm simply dragging the brush through the wet polish and making sure they meet at a point.

Step 4 - Finish with a quick drying top coat.

Here's what the finished manicure looks like I love this is design because multiple capacity. What does it look like to you.. Does it look like fireworks, tie-dye, or something else?

Lets get into the Step-by-Step Tutorial:

Step 1: Apply your favorite basecoat.
My current favorite is Essie's Ridge Filling Basecoat

Step 2: Taking a nail sponge paint one coat of a fast drying clearcoat on to the sponge this is going to help the polish not soak into the sponge and make you put a ton of polish on the sponge before applying the gradient to your nails!

Step 3: Apply the Gradient Design to your nails.

taking a white polish and a ocean color  blue polish. i'm using a sinful colors polish in the color why not. Apply the two polishes to a sponge and blot off the excess on a piece of paper.
Now apply a couple coats of the gradient polish to get the effect you would like..

Step 4: Clean up the skin

I took a nail brush and some ascentone to clean up around the nails.

Taking some acetone or nail polish remover and a brush clean up the cuticle and skin.

Step 5: Add Waves, and some beach details

Taking a nail striping  apply  some white waves to your nail

Add some glitter and shine if you would like you know I love glitters I'm going to go ahead and add some glitter and a beautiful pearl to the design and finish off with your favorite top coat.

This has to be one of my favorite designs I've ever done I don't know who invented this design but I can completely see myself laying by the beach looking down on my nails and seeing the water and just being so love with the relaxation and the feeling of summer.

Lets get into the step-by-step instructions on how to create this manicure.

Step one- start helping your nails any color you would like.

I'm using a pink polish by color zone and a tan colored polish by Essie called cocktails and coconuts

Step two - Apply a glitter gradient to the tip of each nail except for the accent nail.

I'm using a glitter polish by Milani. You're going to simply wipe off most the polish and apply it to the lower portion of the nail.
I'm going to add two coats of the glitter polish and focus mainly on the tip of the nail.

Step three - you're going to create a leopard print near the  cuticle.

Taking the Essie polish I used on the accent finger and a bobby pin I'm applying a couple dots in a c shape.
Now I'm going in with some black polish and a toothpick and creating a little c dots around the larger tan dots

Moving onto the accent finger...

Step four i'm going to create a leopard print design on the entire nail.

Taking a bobby pin I'm going to place large gold and pink dots

Because I want to tie in the glitter across the manicure I'm going to add some gold and pink glitter.
now taking my toothpick and some black polish I'm going to create the leopard design

Finish up the design by filling in the space with some spots

Make sure to allow some time for your manicure to dry and apply your favorite topcoat

Here's what the finished manicure looks like in this design was created for one of my friends who is obsessed with cheetah print and she was completely in love with this manicure and so was I so here we are sharing it with you guys let me know in the comments down below which manicure you would like to see next you can send me a picture on Instagram using the #fabFridaynails
