Recently I signed up for a 10K! A 10K for those of you that do not know that is 6.4 Miles!
Now this 10K is about 5 Weeks away and counting! April 14th!!
How I have been training for the run:
Treadmill: 4 to 6 Miles x3 Times a week!
I run for .5 Miles
Walk .25 Miles with 5lb weights in my hand (making sure that I am using a swinging motion!)
Then walk the remaining .25 Miles!
Repeat until I have reached my goal!
(I have been doing this for almost 2 weeks now! I have felt sore in my core/arms/Shoulders)
Last year I did the same race! My mile time was 10 mins 48 secs!
I am going to beat this time this year!!
